Tammy and Mark Eby

Serving in Indonesia | Asia-Pacific

Mark and Tammy are joining the Sealands Team, sharing with their neighbors the love of God.

Mark and Tammy Eby are the parents of two children.  Their daughter Devon is married and teaches refugee children in Nashville, TN.  Their son Drew lives in Conroe, TX where he is an engineer.  Tammy has served as a Physician's Assistant for 29 years, and Mark has served as a senior pastor for 26.  Their last church assignment was in Rocky Mount, NC where they pastored for over 13 years.

In January of 2018, Mark and Tammy will be joining the Sealands Field on the Asia Pacific Region of the Church of the Nazarene.  This will fulfill a dream of Mark's since he was a child.  It is also in response to a prayer that Mark prayed in college in which God called Mark to be a pastor for now, but one day he and Tammy would be missionaries.  That someday is now here.

In January, Mark and Tammy will join the Sealands team where they will begin language and cultural studies.  Mark's assignment will be as assistant to the Field Strategy Coordinator.  Tammy will serve as a medical advisor for the field and will work in the field office.  Together they will share the love of God with their neighbors.

Going Where the Church is Not Yet

Today there are over 4.3 billion people who live in areas where there is little to no gospel witness. 4.3 billion people who have not heard the message of the gospel, who have never heard the name of Jesus. We believe that everyone deserves to hear. God continues to call the Church of the Nazarene to spread the message of the gospel, to preach holiness, and to bring good news to the poor all over the world. The task is enormous; far too big for anyone to do alone, but together we can go where the church is not yet and see people, communities, and nations transformed. Reaching these people begins with one step, a step of obedience and faithfulness that says yes to God’s call. Take your first step and start your journey toward serving in missions today.
